My
art reflects my love of nature, life, beauty and humor. I have
years of formal education and experience in both photography
and with Adobe Photoshop. I often use Photoshop to create seamless
photomontages and add other effects. Not all my photography is
manipulated. I do feel comfortable using the computer as a tool
when necessary to satisfy my vision. My goal is to create art
with personality. I want my work to be humorous and spiritually
uplifting yet also visually and conceptually intriguing.
I love hearing the wonderful comments from people when they view
my work, but when I see someone smile or laugh at my work is when
I really feel I’ve succeeded.
Noticing most people do smile when they view my work, I began using
the phrase “Art That Smiles” to describe it. I’ve
been selling my work full time since March of 2004 and feel blessed
so many people have fallen in love with my work to allow me to
do so. I’m always happy to share my techniques with others.
I don’t believe in secret techniques. I believe it’s
not the technique; but the vision that makes art. Hope you enjoy!
